Week 35

There really isn't a whole lot to update on in terms of what I have actually accomplished in the past few weeks.

The only thing I can cross off my list is going away on retreat (29). I really didn't expect that our CPE "end of year" retreat would fulfill this requirement in my own mind, but it really has. It's been wonderful to simply get away and talk and laugh and have a good time and eat good food and decompress. I expected it to be more "work" but I guess since I sort of inherited the job of planning I got to make it what I needed it to be. I could get used to doing this more often!

We're making progress on other projects. We went shopping for a new rug for the living room (76) but didn't find anything we like.

Jeff is determined to get the basement done (10) in time for the Iron Bowl this year. We'll see if that actually happens!

I have a ticket to go see Les Miserables (17) with my friend Tyler and her mom, but it's the same week I may be going to the beach. I'll have to double check an see what I'm going to do. If not this one, there's always Wicked!

I'm looking forward to being able to go to bed before midnight (30) once I'm not having to be on call anymore.

Now that the weather is nice and I've not got big plans for this weekend, I may see if Jeff wants to go to the zoo (72).

I have lots of plans for what I want to do once CPE is officially over. I may give myself a few days of grace and throw myself head-first into my new endeavors starting in October. Either way, I'm excited about the possibilities!
